Other airlines such as Flybe and Air France operate routes to Guernsey from most major British airports and International airports in France, Spain and Italy. You are then only a 15 minute flight from Alderney.
Alderney has some of the most challenging sailing waters in the world, it is also the first and last port of call when crossing The Channel, so it is no wonder we have a high number of boats passing through.
There are a few anchorages in Alderney’s sheltered bays, but these are only safe in calm conditions. Braye Harbour has 70 yellow visitor mooring buoys available along with anchorage. The Harbourmaster's Office is responsible for all moorings as well as providing weather information and facilities including - dinghy pontoon, slipway, showers, WCs, launderette, telephones, chandlers, rubbish skip. The Sailing Club welcomes visiting yachtsmen and is open daily from 1800 – 2000.
